Garden Time! It's time for the fall vegetables to be planted in the garden. My little baby and I have been out there several mornings before it gets hot, sewing seeds for cold weather crops like chard, lettuces, broccoli, and pole beans. Hopefully it will be a green winter! Though since I've been pregnant and had the baby, I haven't had the energy or the time I used to take to prepare wholly raw food, I still enjoy it the most. When eating raw food (especially food right out of the garden), the life and energy can be felt so much more strongly than even food from the farmer's market (where baby girl and I will head later today). I can't wait for my little plants to emerge from the soil. Some carrots and chard already have.
